The LycoVent allows the Respiratory Rate and I:E Ratio to be adjusted by the user to suit the clinical requirements for individual patients.

Adjusting these parameters will have an effect on the Inspiratory Time which should remain between 0.5 to 2 seconds. Certain combinations of Respiratory Rate and I:E Ratio will result in an Inspiratory Times outside this range.
